Paris Community Hospital limiting visitors because of flu

Officials with the Paris Community Hospital say they're limiting visitors at the recommendation of the Indiana Department of Public Health. The state is seeing widespread flu activity.

There are new restrictions on who can visit a Wabash Valley hospital because of increasing flu activity in Illinois.

Paris Community Hospital is limiting the amount of visitors to two at a time. The hospital says no one under 18 or with flu-like symptoms should visit and only parents and grandparents are allowed to see pediatric patients.

The hospital says it's not seeing high levels of flu-like illnesses like the rest of the state. The recommendations are from the Illinois Department of Public Health. They're in effect until further notice.
