Another summer day, another chance of a summer storm. Today daytime highs in the upper 80's and it could feel warmer with the "heat" index in the lower to mid 90's. The slow moving cold front will dig southward during today/evening hours. This will serve as a lifting mechanism to fire up some scattered storms this afternoon/evening. The front influences our weather tomorrow with more widespread showers/storms tomorrow afternoon/evening. Saturday/ Sunday will be mostly dry, break from storms with temps comfortably in the mid 80's. Next week, temps continue to "cool" down in the lower 80's with another chance of storms/showers with the next low pressure system head our way.
