A fast moving front continues to pass through the Valley today, providing light, scattered rain showers to the area to start the day. As the front clears the Valley this afternoon, very windy conditions remain and temperatures fall. Highs today are cooler in the upper 40s with a gradually cooler trend through the afternoon/evening. Sustained winds 15-25 mph are expected today with gusts approaching 40 mph at times. Tonight is calmer and colder with lows falling to around 30º. Spring officially kicks off tomorrow with a really nice day as sunshine returns and temperatures bounce back to the mid 50s. The warmest day in our extended forecast remains Friday with highs in the mid 60s. Another frontal system moves through this weekend, providing a slight chance of rain Friday night but mainly a progressively colder pattern for next week. Highs only reach the low 40s starting Sunday.
