Another nice day of warmer temperatures and sunshine is ahead before big changes tomorrow as a strong storm system passes through the region. Highs today reach the upper 60s with our southern counties pushing 70º under sunny sky and light south breeze. Our forecast takes a turn tonight as drastically colder air moves in. Rain showers develop late tonight and remain overnight before transitioning to snow by early tomorrow morning. Heavy rainfall amounts may top an inch while snowfall accumulation will remain lower for the Valley. Most amounts will be minor with highest amounts to the north across I-74 corridor where up to 2" of snow is possible. The majority of our area will see just under an inch of snow. Regardless, slick roads are likely for the morning commute tomorrow, so take it easy. Drier conditions set up by tomorrow afternoon but temperatures will be falling from 30s to 20s. Winds tomorrow will also be an issue as a strong northerly winds gusting to near 40mph especially early in the day. Tomorrow night is dry but much colder in the mid teens. This sharp drop off in temperatures won't last with highs but in the 50s by the weekend. Enjoy another gorgeous and spring-like afternoon today!
