Wet conditions are a big part of this weekend's forecast, starting with some snow today and ending with rain tomorrow. Scattered, light snow showers will move through the Valley by midday-afternoon before transitioning to a snow-rain mix tonight. Accumulations will remain low with around 1-1.5" of snow possible for areas along I-74 and less than an inch south of there. As snow and rain mix tonight, a brief period of freezing rain is possible, so watch out for slick spots, especially this evening. Any winter mix transitions to all rain by tomorrow as temperatures warm to the 40s. Widespread rain showers are likely by the afternoon with 0.50-0.75" possible. Colder air fills in behind this frontal system tomorrow night and as it does, a brief light snow is possible before drier conditions arrive Sunday. Temperatures will remain near seasonable for most of the weekend with mid 30s today and low 40s tomorrow. Sunday is colder with highs only in the mid 20s. Likelihood of significant snow remains high with a strong storm that's forecasted to move through the area Tuesday-Wednesday of next week. We'll continue to monitor this and keep you posted.
