Sub-Zero Wind Chill Returns
Another cold and mostly cloudy day is shaping up as another quick system moves through.  We did pick up some very light snow across the Valley late last night/early morning with only minor accumulation for the northern half.  Cloud cover remains thick today with highs only in the low 30s.  Tonight another front brushes the area, giving the southern third of our viewing area a shot of very light snow later this evening.  The big story will be even colder air filling in for midweek.  Tonight lows fall into the single digits with sub-zero wind chills.  Wind chill values overnight will range from -5º to -15º.  Tomorrow is even colder as highs struggle to reach the 20º mark under sunny sky.  We'll remain in the 20s for wrap up the week with a well below average trend sticking around.  More snow opportunities appear in the extended forecast with some light snow possible Friday night.  A significant winter event is looking likely to start next week Sunday and Monday with a mix of winter precipitation expected.  We'll continue to monitor this.
