Colder temperatures have made a comeback after what was a mild week last week. Below average temperatures will be the trend through the extended forecast as highs don't get above the 30s. Highs in the low 30s can be found today with a dry and partly sunny setup. Clouds will gradually fill in later today/tonight with some light, isolated snow forecasted for the northern half of our viewing area late tonight/early tomorrow. Any snowfall amounts will be very minor with most receiving up to 0.50" of snow. Tomorrow will remain mostly cloudy and cold with highs back in the low-mid 30s. Another disturbance in the region may bring very light snow to the southern half tomorrow evening-overnight with only a dusting of snow expected. Colder air with Canadian high pressure will be the rule for midweek as highs stay in the teens Wednesday but quickly rebound back to the 30s to wrap up the work week. Overall, a much colder but fairly calm pattern will play out this week.
