Morning Weather: February 21, 2014

Windy & Cooler
A strong low pressure system has passed through the Valley, taking the rain/t'storms with it but leaving behind some windy conditions.  We remain under a Wind Advisory until 7:00 P.M. EST with gusts of 40 mph possible, especially early today.  Cooler but still mild air fills into the region with highs reaching the mid 40s this afternoon.  Tonight we'll drop to the low 30s.  Slightly warmer weather is here tomorrow with highs approaching 50º and more sunshine in store.  However, clouds fill in late in the day with the slight chance of some light snow tomorrow night-early Sunday as a weak area of low pressure moves through.  The best chances for any minor accumulation lie to our north.  Sunday the lagging cold air mass pushes through, providing a stretch of below average temperatures in the 30s and eventually 20s for next week.  Enjoy a pretty nice weekend with some mild weather!
