Morning Weather: February 11, 2014

Bouncing Back from Below Zero
Sub-zero temperatures have once again returned to the Valley this morning as many places have hit new record low temperatures.  Lows have ranged from 0º to -20º.  Thankfully calm wind for most means we aren't dealing with wind chill.  Clearing sky overnight means we'll see sunshine early on and warm a bit quicker than we did yesterday with highs climbing into the upper teens today.  Tonight is another bitterly cold night with lows around 0º.  A gradual warming trend awaits us the rest of this work week with 20s tomorrow and 30s by Thursday to round out the week.  Temperatures warm even more by next week with a more seasonable forecast in the 40s.  The dry, quiet pattern we've had will give way to some wet weather by the end of the week with some light snow possible Friday.
