Low interest disaster loans available for Nov. storm victims

Governor Mike Pence says low interest federal disaster loans are available to people and businesses affected by severe weather on Nov. 17, 2013.

Some extra help is on the way for Hoosiers still rebuilding after tornadoes ripped through portions of the state last fall.

Governor Mike Pence says low interest federal disaster loans are available in 19 counties, including Daviess, Greene, Knox, Parke and Vermillion counties.

Homes and businesses damaged during severe weather on Nov. 17 can apply for the loans.

There will be a Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Daviess County.

Applications are accepted at the center or online via the U.S. Small Business Administration website. Those who suffered damage to personal or business property have to apply by April 7.
