The Vigo County Sheriff's Department says a Brenton Scott, an ISU basketball player, was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence. Officials say he told police he was his twin brother, Bryson.

An Indiana State University basketball player is suspended indefinitely after getting arrested.

A Vigo County Sheriff's Deputy arrested Brenton Scott Saturday for drunk driving. It happened around 10:30 at Third Street and Hulman.

Scott gave the deputy his twin brother's name, Bryson Scott, who is a basketball player at Purdue.

The deputy also smelled marijuana inside the car.

ISU players Devonte Brown and Alex Etherington were also in the car. They told the deputy Scott's real name.

He was booked in the Vigo County Jail for operating while intoxicated, false informing and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
