500 Automotive hosted a meet and greet with Wabash Valley native Ed Carpenter.

The IndyCar racer talked with fans and even signed some autographs.

Carpenter's number 20 IndyCar was also on hand so that fans could have their pictures taken next to it.

In last year's Indy 500, Carpenter won the pole position, but finished tenth in the race.

As he prepares for this year's Indianapolis 500, Carpenter says its nice to be able to get away from work a little bit.

This year's Indy 500 is May 25th. The race starts at 12:15 P.M. You can watch it on WAWV.
