Indiana Theatre to Open Adjacent Lounge

The Indiana Theater in Terre Haute is expanding its reach.
The Indiana Theater in Terre Haute is expanding its reach.

Plans to add a wine and martini lounge to the theater are in the works.

The new area will be connected to the current structure.

It will face the seventh street side of the theater.

That area is currently being used as storage for the venue.

The lounge will also feature a private room that smaller groups can reserve.

The new space will have an "old" feel.

"Everything that we're going to try and do here is to really hark into the rich history of the theater and it's identify and decor we hope will fit with the theater itself," Rob Lundstrom, owner of the Indiana Theater said.

Plans for the lounge are still being finalized.

No opening date has been announced.

The theater says the lounge could be up and running by late spring or early summer.
