Indiana Raptor Center Visits Vigo County

Local residents learn about birds of prey at a Wabash Valley park during the Raptors of Indiana educational program.

The annual Raptors of Indiana program was held at the Raccoon State Recreation Area on June 14, 2014.

The event was hosted by the Dwight Chamberlain Raptor Rehabilitation Center was for people of all ages and featured owls, hawks, and falcons from the Center.

The Indiana Raptor Center is a non-profit organization that rescues and cares for wild birds until they can be released back into the wild.

The Center wants people to be aware of how important taking care of the birds and our environment is.
