Crawford County Coroner's Jury Rules Homicide in Local Teen's Death

Case involves a fatal traffic crash last fall near Gordon Junction.
A Crawford County, Illinois Coroner's jury has ruled that a teen's death last fall was a homicide.
   
The panel took just 45 minutes to reach that conclusion about the death of 17-year-old Alexis Myers.
   
She was thrown out of a vehicle driven by Garick Hough when the car rolled over near Gordon Junction. He's been charged with aggravated DUI. 
   
A passenger in the vehicle, Josiah Coats testified at the inquest.  He had actually been arrested in Richland County for crime damage to property.
