Habitat for Humanity Helps Local Vet

Crews will be working on the house three times a week through the end of August.
Habitat for Humanity is back at it again.

This time helping a local veteran and his family.

The crew started working early Saturday morning on the home.

It will feature lots of open space.

Which is important for Daniel Wakefield who is wheelchair-bound

Currently he depends on his wife to get around.

"This is a blessing we pray today that God  will watch over everyone give them safety and would take care of them and we thank everyone so much with all of our hearts for what they're doing," Wakefield said.

Crews will be working on the house three times a week through the end of August.

If you'd like to help call the habitat for humanity office at 812-235-5914.
