Hundreds took part in the Dishes for Wishes event.

This year, it's all to help benefit a Make-A-Wish foundation trip.

Jaden of Brazil, Indiana suffers from acute lympoblastic leukemia. His wish is to go to Hawaii to see a real-life volcano.

Organizers say it's a way for the community to help make his dream come true.

"It definitely does, it's fun for us to plan but to see everyone coming out and knowing we are going to have this huge effect on a child's life, is such a great feeling," said Sloane Masden of Chi Omega at Rose-Hulman.

Jessica Waldren, a member of Chi Omega at ISU, adds: "Especially because he's just a little boy. He's only 7 years old so it's great to know we are helping him."

This event is the biggest fundraiser put on by the Chi Omega sorority from both ISU and Rose-Hulman.

In the fall, the group is hosting a 5-K for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
