Indiana Conservations Officers say that someone found a body on top of corn stalk debris near the mouth of a creek that feeds into the White River.

This area was part of the initial search for Kathryn McGill of Illinois.

Back in December, Kathryn and her husband Adam were stranded in flood waters on State Road 257 at the Pike-Daviess County line. Hunters were able to reach Adam in time, but Kathryn was swept away. Officials have been searching for Kathryn ever since.

The body discovered on Friday will be taken to the Vanderburgh County Morgue for examination and identification. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
