11th Annual Taste of Soul

The Bethlehem Temple Church held its 11th annual Taste Of Soul lunch Saturday afternoon. The community lined the streets just try some of the authentic food. Each year volunteers serve around 500 meals, and today was no exception.

Officials say even after a decade, it's still a special event.

It's a time where the African-American community can really put a lot of heart and pride into their meals dishes and dishes, and so this is just the time that we chose to have this event in the month of February which is Black history month," said senior pastor Glenn Purnell.

All of the proceeds from the Taste of Soul will go toward building a new church across the street.
