Halloween is fast approaching, and on Saturday night, nearly 100 people came out to Clinton for a scary good time.

The Clinton Public Library was in costume for a "haunted library" event.

Those say it's not only a great way to help their mission, but to really have a good time with the community.

"It's actually really fun. All the volunteers are having a great time, are really enjoying scaring people and I think the most exciting part for us is seeing
that people were actually were scared," laughed volunteer Kaylie Davitto.

Volunteers also collected canned goods for a local food pantry, and they're already talking about another haunted library for next year.
