It was the first annual "Casey's Kicks" fundraiser at the Crossroads Community Church.

It's to honor Casey Drake, who died in a motorcycle accident in March of 2012.

Casey loved shoes, so Casey's Kicks raises money for kids in Sullivan County who can't afford a new pair.

Businesses in Sullivan and community members donated food, money and auction items, so all proceeds to go to the fund.

Family members say it's amazing to see everyone come together.

"It's very touching to see all his buddies here tonight, they are all the servers here. It's brought up a lot of memories of Casey, it's a very enjoyable night, and also a tear-jerker as well. We thought if we could give back to the community... and turn something that was very difficult for us into a positive things for the children of Sullivan County," said Allison Lane, Casey's stepsister.

Casey's Kicks already raised over $1,000.

You can still donate at the Crossroads Community Church.
