Brazil Man Escapes Injury When Tree Stand Fall Leaves Him Dangling

Indiana Conservation officers say Ray Winnett was coming out of the tree stand after hunting in Morgan County when he slipped and fell backwards. The 58-year-old was left dangling - upside down - for about 45 minutes. After emergency responders were able to get him down, Winnett was treated for minor back pain and released at the scene.

Indiana Conservation officers say Ray Winnett was coming out of the tree stand after hunting in Morgan County when he slipped and fell backwards.

The 58-year-old was left dangling - upside down - for about 45 minutes.

After emergency responders were able to get him down, Winnett was treated for minor back pain and released at the scene.

DNR officers are investigating the incident.
