Alcohol, Speed Factors in Crash that Sends Three to Hospital

Police say Zach Bignell, 24, was driving a mini-bike on Davis Avenue. He collided head-on with a go-cart, driven by Brandon Warnock, 24, and passenger Zach Toney, 25. Bignell was airlifted to an Indianapolis Hospital with internal injuries and is currently listed in critical condition. Warnock and Toney were both taken to Union Hosptial with non-life threatening injuries.
Three people are in the hospital - including one in critical condition - following an accident in Vigo County Saturday night.

Police say Zach Bignell, 24, was driving a mini-bike on Davis Avenue. He collided head-on with a go-cart, driven by Brandon Warnock, 24, and passenger Zach Toney, 25.

Bignell was airlifted to an Indianapolis Hospital with internal injuries and is currently listed in critical condition.

Warnock and Toney were both taken to Union Hosptial with non-life threatening injuries.

The initial investigation has revealed that high speed and alcohol are factors in the crash.

The investigation will continue, pending any criminal charges.
