Paul George's Time With Pacers Nearly Over

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - It sounds like Paul George's time with the Pacers will soon end.

According to a report by The Vertical, George has informed the team that the 2017-2018 NBA season will be his last with the franchise.

PG-13 intends to test the free agency market next summer and sign with another team, most likely the Los Angeles Lakers.

Just days ago, George discussed his future in Indiana, saying things like "I'm a Pacer" and "what I've always been preaching, more so than you see now, is having guys I can win with and wanting to win. It came from the heart and was very sincere in wanting to bring that to Indiana."

But George is entering the final year of his contract with the Blue and Gold, so his departure may not be too shocking.

The Pacers could look to move George in the meantime and receive a bit of value for their franchise player.
