Indiana State's Kincanon Drafted by White Sox

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - On the final day of the MLB Draft, several local players of interest were selected.

None higher than Indiana State junior Will Kincanon.

The right hander was taken in the 11th round by the Chicago White Sox, his favorite team growing up.

Other Sycamores drafted include Tyler Friis, Jeremy McKinney, and Damon Olds.

Friis, a shortstop, was taken in the 21st round by Cleveland.

Starting pitcher Jeremy McKinney was taken in the 31st round by Washington.

Damon Olds, a relief pitcher and Terre Haute South graduate, was selected by Kansas City in the 33rd round.

Another former South Brave was also drafted.

Pete Lannoo, who played collegiately at Cornell, was taken by San Francisco in the 28th round.
