SULLIVAN, Ind. - Next month, dozens of runners will descend upon the city of Sullivan for the 2nd annual Run For Those Who Can't 5K for ALS.
It's a fundraiser for the ALS Association and the Chad Smith Scholarship Fund.
It was created in honor of Chad Smith, a standout cross country runner at Sullivan and University of Southern Indiana.
Smith passed away last August after suffering from ALS.
The race was created by his niece, Emily Greggs.
The race takes place April 22nd at 6 pm.
