Linton, IN - Goodwill of the Wabash Valley is growing.
Currently the charity operates ten local stores and they're in the process of opening a new facility in Linton.
Goodwill shutdown it's old Linton back in the mid 1980s.
The new facility is taking shape inside the old Sears store. They've already started taking applications and interviewing workers.
"It's good for the community, it's certainly good for the people Goodwill employs, and it's good for the donors to have somewhere to have their donations re-purposed in a meaningful way," says CEO of Wabash Valley Goodwill, Bill Tennis.
Goodwill hopes to open the new Linton store in late April or early May.
They will begin accepting donated goods several weeks before the opening, so watch their Facebook page for a heads up about that.
