T.H.P.D. Officer Recognition and Commendation Dinner

26th Annual Event

Some of the most important people in the community recieve well deserved recognition and praise.  Tonight, local police were recognized for their bravery, acts of heroism and for serving the community.

The 26th Annual Terre Haute Police Department Officer Recognition and Commendation Dinner was held on the I.S.U. campus.  First Financial Bank sponsored tonight's special dinner and our very own Tom McClanahan helped emcee the event.

A number of awards were presented tonight and Detective Keith Mowbray was named the Police Officer of the Year.  The Mike Dinkle Memorial Award was presented to Dr. Pat Cooke and Dr. Jessica Cooke of Heritage Animal Hospital North.  The Life Saving Award was given to Officers Matt Murray and Eric Anderson.  And the Civilian Service Award recipients were Rheba Henson and Jason Warnick.
