Terre Haute - A woman is arrested on theft and intimidation charges after a police investigation.
In mid February of 2018, THPD received a report from a man who alleged he had met a woman on a social media website.
The man said that he became involved in a brief romance with the female and when he told the female that he wanted to end the romance, the female began demanding money from the man.
The woman threatened that she would tell the man's significant other about the romance. The man then made several payments to the woman.
Detectives began investigating the case and were able to identify the suspect as Natasha Edmonson.
An arrest warrant was then obtained on March 8th for Edmonson for one count of Theft and 4 counts of Intimidation.
Edmonson was arrested today in the area of 25th and Wabash.
The arrest warrant was served and she was transported to Vigo County Jail.
