TERRE HAUTE, IN - Folks in Terre Haute weren't using wheels today, but their feet running for the 23rd annual Swamp Stomp.
The Wabash Valley Road Runners group came out to Heritage Trail for a 5 mile run, 4 mile walk and one mile fun run event.
Proceeds from the run go toward the group and their efforts to keep the Valley pretty, healthy and happy.
"Wabash Valley really has really good places to run, we can always improve and that's one of the things that if we join the club, and help us do this, we could make the valley even a better place to run," event director Buddy Green said.
Wabash Valley Road Runners support many running events and even a high school scholarship. There were around 250 participants today.
