A summertime tradition is in full swing in downtown Terre Haute.
St. Benedict Community Festival is Friday and Saturday evening at the church on Ohio Street.
This is the festival's 17th year. It helps to support the church and its mission which includes a soup kitchen.
There's plenty of food and drinks, casino games and live music.
This year's celebration coincides with a big milestone for the church.
"We're actually getting ready to celebrate our 150th anniversary of the church so we'll also use some of the funds to help restore and maintain our historic buildings here on campus," says Meghan Williams, festival co-chair.
You can get a tour of the historic church every hour on the hour.
The festival continues Saturday from 5 to midnight.
It's $2 for the 21 and older crowd.
