A dispute between an apartment complex and a neighboring subdivision is resolved once and for all as the county has signed off on an agreement.

Cobblestone Crossings in southern Vigo County has agreed to build a wall between its property and nearby Viscaya Point.

The wall will be similar to the one dividing the apartments and the Woodgate subdivision east of the complex.

Apartment developers and Viscaya residents took the dispute to court earlier this year.

The Area Planning Commission approved the agreement Wednesday night.

"We've reached a point where I think all parties involved are pretty satisfied with the resolution," says Fred Wilson, president of the Vigo County Area Panning Commission.

Currently the two properties are divided by trees and shrubs. The wall will be 600 feet long and stand eight feet high.
