Terre Haute, IN - The Primary Election is set to kick off in May and on Monday night, a few Hoosier candidates stopped rally some support in the Wabash Valley.
Terre Haute was seeing a lot of blue on Monday night, The "Indivisible Indiana 8th District" invited several local Democratic candidates for their "Meet the Candidates Forum."
It took place at the First Unitarian Unversalist Church in Terre Haute, the public mingled with candidates who are seeking a variety of offices including county commissioner, county council, prosecutor and assessor.
They hope to gain plenty of support as the elections near. Candidates also passed out pamphlets and fliers about their campaigns; they also came with little reminders for folks to get registered in time to vote.
Just a reminder for all local voters: voter registration for the primary ends on April 9th, the Primary Election Day is May 8th, and the general election takes place on November 6th.
