Woman Sentenced To 30 Years In Murder For Hire Case

An Illinois woman who pleaded guilty to solicitation of murder for hire will spend the next 30 years in prison.

A judge sentenced Helen Marie Westall of Bridgeport on Tuesday.

She hired Tyler McQueen in March of 2012 to kill her uncle 78-year-old Robert Westall.

Helen Westall must serve 85% of her sentence.

McQueen has already been sentenced to 50 years in prison for his role in the crime.
