Westminster Village currently has 20 villa homes, and is planning to add six more buildings in the future.
City officials broke ground Wednesday, and invited residents to come and learn more about the new living facilities.
The total investment for the twelve new villa's will be 1.8 million dollars.
Officials say this is will bring new attractive services, and amenities for the villa residents.
PJ Whitney, the Director of Marketing at Westminster Village said, "This will be a great benefit for the community to be able to add twelve new homes that are completely maintenance free living, and be able to have the health care facilities that we have available here on the project."
Phase one of construction at Westminster Village was completed in 2008, and there's no expected deadline for the new six buildings at this time.
