Humane societies throughout the Wabash Valley are seeing an influx in animals and Peter Paul from the Terre Haute Humane Society says this isn't unusual.

The Parke-Vermillion County Humane Society is past capacity right now but they've been accepting animals from other counties. They say everyone is in the same boat.

They hope people will have their pets spayed and neutered and ask that people come out and adopt pets.
