"When we got here we found the structure was fully involved, found out it was a daycare, we was informed when we got here that there was still one child inside," Rob Robertson, Sullivan Fire Chief said.
A child who would never make it out.
"We weren't able to get to the child in time, we do have one deceased child," Robertson said.
A child Kelsey Foster never let out of her sight when she used to babysit her.
"She was the cutest little girl, she would crawl around and play with the puppies. A very sweet little girl very smart. She had just started walking not too long ago, i saw some pictures," Foster said.
Hearing of the child's death was almost too much for foster to process.
"I couldn't believe it because i had told him last summer I wish I had a little girl that looked just like her and now I'm pregnant with a little girl. And then I heard the news and I'm just like wow," Foster said.
Firefighters are searching for answers to what started the blaze.
Searching for the strength to continue after dealing with two fatal fires, in just five days.
"It's pretty tough we'll be doing some debriefing later, we just gotta get through what we gotta do," Robertson said.
