UPDATE: Police Ask for Public's Help

Police in Mattoon, Illinois are searching for two men possibly involved in robberies. Two separate robberies took place over the weekend and police are asking for your help in locating two persons of interest.

Sunday night, a suspect entered Lee's Famous Recipe on Charlestone Avenue and left with money. He's described as a white male about 5'7 or 5'8, with a slim to medium build. Witnesses say he was wearing a pink hoodie, faded blue jeans, black tennis shoes, and a black ski mask.

Morning morning, a suspect entered Casey's General Store on Charleston Avenue and displayed a firearm and demanded money.  This suspect is described as a white male, 5'7 to 5'9, with a medium build. He was wearing a black shirt, black ski mask, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

They are believed to be driving a white four-door SUV. The make and model are unknown at this time.

You're asked to call the Mattoon Police Department if you have information on either robberies. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction.
