Texting Ban Gains Traction

(Indianapolis) -- Texting while driving could become illegal in Indiana.
State Senator Brent Steele blocked legislation earlier because he said the bills would not be enforceable, saying police would not be able to tell if a person was dialing the phone or texting.
Now, state Seantor Travis Holdman has legislation he's promoting to outlaw both texting and dialing while behind the wheel.
Holdman was joined at the Statehouse Thursday by Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller and AT&T Indiana President George Fleetwood, as both are backing the measure.
