Have you ever wanted to learn to play an instrument, but thought you were too old?
Guess again.

The Community School of the Arts through Indiana State University is teaching adults to play music through a new program.
It's called New Horizons.
Organizers say the less experience participants have the better.
And the experience will benefit your brain.

"Music is one of the only things that has been scientifically proven to use all areas of the brain. Other than that it's just really fun to learn an instrument," Petra NyendicK said.
The program runs on Mondays from September 8th to December 15th.
Classes will take place from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Participants will have to pay a $165 fee to participate.
There will be an informational meeting on August 11th at 5:30 p.m. at the Landini Center for Performing Arts Center on ISU's campus.
