A Terre Haute man faces up to 55 years in prison after pleading guilty for a 2013 murder.

It's a story we've been following since a family member discovered Shirley Moyer dead in her home.

It happened in October of last year.

Police say Matthew Cook stabbed Shirley Moyer and stole several items from the home, including jewelry and prescription drugs.
The 32 year old faces up to 45 years for the murder and another ten years for burglary.
