Today a local school group says it has found a way to keep their students in school. Dugger Union Community School Group is partnering with the Indiana Cyber Charter School.

Last December the North East Sullivan school board voted to close Union High School and Dugger Elementary at the end of this school year. Thursday representatives from the charter school and Dugger met to make the partnership official. Indiana Cyber Charter School is a publicly funded school sponsored by Trine University. The charter school will provide Dugger students with equipment and technology resources.

The school now must secure the buildings. For information on how to register your student, click here.
