The first was a high caliber issue over a local gun range.
Range Time, which is located in the town of Lewis applied for rezoning tonight.
Owners want to go from an A-1 zoning, which allows all agricultural use to an open space zoning property, which will allow outdoor recreational usage.
The property is located on State Road 159.
The range has been operational for a year.
But citizens nearby have concerns about their safety.
Jared Modesitt, who represents a landowner near the gun range, said, "the basic concern is essentially public safety, their children's safety, access to the property, real estate values, and just general ability to be able to have quiet enjoyment of their property."
The Area Planning Commission gave the rezoning an unfavorable recommendation.
