A group of local firefighters spent Thursday preparing for the worst cast scenario.  They trained for car roll-overs off the road.

It's called low angle rescue. That's when a car rolls off the road and down the side of a hill.  Fire fighters have to use ropes and other stabalizing system in order to pull a victim back to the road.

"It's very important. All accidents don't always stay on the road so if we're in places where we don't have access we have to use stuff like this to get the person out," said Honey Creek Battalion Chief, Jason Rader, said.

Firefighters train for scenarios like this one several times a year. They train monthly for other fire scenarios.
