Lions Club Hosts Indiana Supreme Court Justice

Another member of Indiana government made is his way to the Valley this afternoon.

Vigo County Lions Clubs hosted Supreme Court Justice Steven David at their annual meeting today.
The groups met to discuss different ways they could reach out the the community, and David spoke to the group about focusing on what you need to be rather than what you need to do with your life.

And he says bringing people together for one cause is a great way boost community spirit.

"Being involved in your community whether you're a Lion, for Kiwanis, or coaching Little League or serving on the community foundation, is very important. For me personally being on Indiana Supreme Court, I relish any opportunity to get out and speak to people in the community not only about what we do on the Supreme Court but about government and about public-service," said David.

The Terre Haute Lions Club helps support many different organizations throughout the valley, including catholic charities, The Light House Mission and the Boys and Girls Club.
