Lauren Bacall Dies

Actress and Hollywood Legend Lauren Bacall died at age 89 Tuesday. She married Humphrey Bogart when she was 20 years old. The Bogart Estate told NBC that Bacall died after a stroke at a New York City hospital.

She was born Betty Joan Perske on September 16, 1924.

Bacall starred in "How to Marry a Millionaire" with Marylin Monroe in 1953. She received a Golden Globe and an Academy Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actress after her performance in "The Mirror Has Two Faces." She received an Honorary Academy Award in 2009.
