As New Student Orientation comes to a close at Indiana State University, a new chapter will begin.

Around 2,400 new faces have been in Terre Haute throughout the past month... checking out ISU's campus and registering their fall classes. The next time these students step back on campus, they'll be Sycamores.

It's a bittersweet time for orientation leaders, students and parents alike.

NSO leaders have grown close and parents will soon be sending their kids off to school.

More than 2,400 students are expected to start as freshman this fall. Although orientation allows good projection numbers, ISU's Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management Richard Toomey says, those numbers aren't final until classes start.
