Hundreds of thousands of Hoosiers could benefit from HIP 2.0, a healthcare extension to the Healthy Indiana Plan, if approved by the state and the feds.

Governor Mike Pence introduced the plan earlier today. It would allow those who live at 138% or less of the federal poverty level to be insured.

If HIP 2.0 is approved, it would be in place by 2015.
