Along with Donaghy Day, Indiana State has a variety of other activities for incoming students throughout the week.

Fall Welcome week for freshmen includes both informational and fun activities for students. The university wants students to get accustomed to college life, both making friends and getting involved in their academics right away.

Director of New Student Transition Programs and University Testing Tracy Osborne said, "It's important to not just get involved in the different activities, but make new friends. These different events are here to get them not only involved socially, but academically. We have what's called passport to college and surviving and thriving, that's going to help them academically get to know different professors across campus."

This evening there's an event called "Sex Signals,"it's put on by a comedian, a very light-hearted way to cover a tough topic.

Here's a full schedule of activities.
