Some of the projects today included painting, staining and hanging speakers.
Without their help, the fairgrounds wouldn't have the proper equipment to get ready for upcoming events.
Rick Burger, Duke Energy Manager said, "And this is a jewel for the county, you know we're a hundred thousand people. I think Jennifer attends the fair here, and it's just a way for us to give back our sweat equity, rather than writing a check, we are giving our sweat equity today."
This isn't the only stop Duke Energy will be at this summer, they are hoping to hit one or two more community projects in the Wabash Valley in the next few months.
